Tambopata Selva Magico and Madre de Dios River 4 Days / 3 Nights

After your arrival in the morning to Puerto Maldonado, you will be received by our tour guide and taken to our office where you can leave your luggage and carry only what is necessary for your 1,2,3,4 stay. days, Then with the relevant permit to enter the reserve, we will move to a local port, where you will board a boat that will take us down the River approximately 45 minutes along the Madre de Dios River, tributary of the Amazon, Once the Entrance of Lake Sandoval, we will make a stop at the checkpoint for check-in and the guide will explain the importance of the place to visit, and then we will make a walk of 1 hour and a half through the tropical forest, As we move forward The jungle is changing from secondary jungle to primary jungle once we reach the Sandoval port, where there we will take a small canoe to paddle to take us through a channel towards the Sandoval Lake to our Lodge, where they will be given to their respective rooms, After a short rest we will do our first activity by boat to enjoy a spectacular sunset where we can observe in its splendor the fauna among them the night monkeys, bats then we go to change and take our adventure boat in search of black caiman (alligator), Sandoval Lake is the place where the largest black caimans of the Peruvian Amazon live this species can reach Measure between 5 to 6 meters long and have been seen in this lake and then go to enjoy our dinner and rest.

This day we will start our excursion very early, before dawn, between 4:30 and 5:00 am. We will go to the palm lick where we will appreciate different species of multicolored parrots, parrots eating the shebon of palm trees, making a noise and magnificent shows and observe the red macaws and blue macaws, blue-headed parrots, red-bellied parrots, and other types of parrots and parrots that abound there, return to the Lodge to enjoy our breakfast, then we will do a walk into the jungle where we will see the giant trees of 500 or 800 years of age where we can know a lot of the medicinal plants that the native people of the area usually use. We will return for our lunch and in the afternoon we will go to take a relaxing break and then to go swimming with our guide. We will return to the Lodge to change and take our lanterns and go out on a night walk adventure and enter the world of insects and with luck you can see snakes and at the same time enjoy the symphony of insects and songs of night birds and other animals. We will return for our dinner and rest.

After our breakfast at dawn we will board a boat to go in search of the appreciated giant otters and we can observe from very close since they are used to observing them, ensuring a good photographic view and we can also observe different species of multicolored birds, monkeys, Etc. Then we will start the walk back to another lodge on the shore of the Madre de Dios river. where a well-deserved lunch awaits us and after lunch, we will board our boat to go to the 400 meter long of canopy walkway adventure that is built on the tallest trees in the jungle 45 meters high from where we will appreciate a spectacular panorama, in the night after dinner, we will do a night walk to meet a variety of insects, tarantulas and with good luck we can observe snakes.

This morning we will wake up at 7.30 am breakfast. Then we will board our boat to Monkey Island, where you can see 3 types of monkeys: white capuchin monkeys, black capuchin monkeys and squirrel monkeys. Closing the day, we will return to the City of Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport or land terminal.
